The Agency Power Can-Am Maverick X3 Big Brake Kit Front and Rear (Yellow) is the ultimate braking solution for your Can-Am Maverick X3. Manufactured in the USA in partnership with a leading performance brake manufacturer, this brake kit has been specifically designed to enhance the braking performance of your off-road vehicle.
With nearly a year of testing and research, the Agency Power team found that a 4 wheel brake kit was essential for the Can-Am Maverick X3. Unlike typical automotive designs, which are not optimized for off-road suspension and rear-mounted engines, this brake system provides improved braking performance that the X3 needs.
The calipers in this kit are constructed using a 2-piece design, featuring built-in "ears" for easy mounting to the wheel carrier. Unlike other companies that may use additional brackets and spacers, the Agency Power calipers offer excellent rigidity. Each caliper half is assembled using 4 10mm cross bolts for maximum stiffness, eliminating caliper flex and the potential for pad knock back.
Internally, the caliper is well-designed with custom machined piston sizing and an overall surface area comparable to many 6 piston vehicle brakes. This ensures a perfect squat under hard braking, allowing you to control your vehicle better compared to an unbalanced nose dive. The caliper also features hard anodized aluminum pistons for lightweight, ease of movement, and efficient clamping force on the rotor.
The brake pads included in this kit are carefully selected to provide optimal performance and balance for the majority of users. The front caliper uses a Hawk HP+ N-Compound, while the rear uses a DR1-C ceramic brake pad. Once bed-in properly, these pads offer amazing performance without excess squeaking noise.
