ABOUT THE PRODUCT
EVO Powersports' **V-Flow Intake** for the 2017-2019 **Can-Am Maverick X3** addresses key performance bottlenecks found in the stock intake system. After extensive dyno testing, EVO determined that the stock air filter canister outlet was too small to support big horsepower gains. By enlarging the outlet and replacing the pressed-in end cap with an anodized, billet aluminum cap, the **V-Flow Intake** ensures greater airflow efficiency to maximize turbocharger performance.
The **V-Flow Intake** not only provides an **enhanced airflow** but also includes an internally baffled system with **stainless steel screening** to prevent oil and moisture from contaminating vital engine components like the **turbocharger**, **charge tubes**, and **intercooler**. This is crucial for maintaining consistent turbo efficiency and preventing the lowering of the **effective octane** of the incoming air/fuel mixture.
EASY INSTALLATION AND DURABILITY
Installation is **simple and easy**, as the system reuses the OEM crankcase vent hose, with no need for additional fittings or modifications. The entire body, including the **frame mount**, is machined from **6160-T6 aluminum** for added strength, durability, and to prevent cracking or breaking. The **V-Flow Intake** can be mounted in a variety of locations, thanks to the **billet cap** that rotates in **45-degree increments** for maximum flexibility.
