Description
Don't need your Alternator? Take out the alternator and pulley with the delete kit from Speedwerx. Deleting the alternator and pulley saves a about 15lbs of weight from the machine plus the added bonus of reducing rotating weight spinning at crankshaft speed.
The Kit comes complete with a bolt and washer to replace the pulley assembly and a screw-in cap with an o-ring seal for the stator housing.
Deleting the alternator and pulley system is not ideal for every application but if you do a lot of racing or trail riding where it isn't necessary saving that weight can be a big advantage. Even with the alternator our the stator still produces 470 watts of power which is enough to power all the stock lights and electronics and recharge the battery.
