High Lifter introduces heavy-duty control arms designed for superior support compared to factory arms.
Both upper and lower arms are constructed from 1.5" DOM tubing with .188 wall thickness, representing a significant 50% increase in size and a 70% increase in steel thickness for enhanced durability and strength.
These control arms feature built-in adjustability in the lower arms' bushing collars, addressing premature wear caused by lift kits, portals, or larger tires. Heat-treated and plated adjustable bushing collars offer 3/8" of adjustability in and out when set to the factory position, ensuring confidence in added strength. The kit comes preadjusted to the factory position, utilizing factory bushings and caps during installation.
Maximizing ground clearance, the lower control arms are strategically arched with double and triple bends, providing an additional 1.75" of ground clearance to navigate trail obstacles without impacting factory geometry. Forward arms enable the use of larger tires without a suspension lift, while improvements to the upper control arm reduce extreme angles on sway bar links, minimizing wear.
To counter torque from portals and large tires, the ball joint brackets are reinforced with over a 130% increase in the mounting area, preventing breakdown or distortion. Optional preinstalled ball joints, installed with precision by High Lifter's service team, ensure easy installation and prevent damage due to improper installation.
