Lexan makes as good of a roof as it does a windshield. Why Lexan you may ask? Sit in a Maverick Trail with a Lexan Roof and you will see why, literally. Lexan gives you such a larger field of vision than a traditional top. When you are navigating tight trails, or technical boulders, it is nice to be able to look wherever you need to.
Not only do you get the added vision benefit from the Lexan, but you do not sacrifice strength compare to a poly roof. Lexan is notoriously impact resistant and can take a blow as well as any Poly top.
Spike tints their Lexan roofs to protect your from the sun. One of the reasons roofs are so popular is because they do protect you from the beating sun, and a nice tint on Lexan will help to lessen that solar impact as well.
