The Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 is transformed into a formidable off-road machine with the addition of an 8" GDP Portal Gear Lift.
This upgrade offers significant ground clearance and a choice of 45%, 60%, or 70% gear reduction for increased power and torque. The dual idler gear portals ensure precise torque transfer and durability, with CNC-ground idler gears made from robust steel alloy. The gear reduction in the hubs protects the entire drivetrain from excessive wear.
The housings, available in cast or billet aluminum, are engineered for strength and durability, featuring reinforced designs and advanced steel alloy backing plates. Portal Blood gear oil, specially formulated for GDP Portals, ensures optimal performance without vents, which can be detrimental. Advanced gaskets and seals prevent oil leaks and maintain gear meshing, while a frame stiffener is recommended to reinforce the UTV's structure.
