Glass is still the ultimate windshield material when it comes to clarity, no other material is going to provide the scratch resistance that glass will. Additionally you don't have to suffocate behind this windshield when it gets hot. The bottom flap lifts up allowing air to flow into the cab to help cool you down on hot days while reducing the discrepancy in air pressure as well.
