The kit includes the innovative RZR Fuel Tank Armor, designed by Thunderhawk Performance in 2007. Even with Polaris manufacturing 2015 and newer RZR 900s and RZR-S 1000 with exposed fuel tanks, this armor provides crucial protection for the rear half of the fuel tank, safeguarding against potential damage from rocks or sticks that could leave you stranded and facing a costly replacement.
Additionally, the kit features protection for the RZR's main electrical system located just below the driver's seat. Exposed voltage regulators, main fuse blocks, and the vehicle wiring harness are vulnerable to trail debris thrown by the left rear tire. Despite Polaris relocating the regulator in 2017, the fuse block and wiring harness remain exposed, making this kit a valuable solution to shield these critical electrical components from water, mud, rocks, and sticks.
